These small (aka young) sardines from the Mediterranean Sea are cleaned, steamed, and packed in olive oil by hand in Bizkaia, Spain.
At a trade show, we happened to find the Minnow booth, and we flipped when we tasted their sardines. How can tinned fish be so delicious? And what a natural partner for a bowl of Rancho Gordo heirloom beans! Steve recommends adding them to a bowl of Garbanzos and spinach.
